What Money can't buy!

In a world where money reigns supreme,
We often forget what truly matters, it seems.
We chase after material things, thinking they'll bring us peace,
But in reality, they only provide a temporary release.

We can buy a mansion, but not peace;
No amount of wealth can bring true inner ease.
The walls may be grand, but inside we'll still feel hollow,
For true peace comes from within, not what we can borrow.
We can buy a bed, but not sleep;
No matter how comfortable, our worries will still creep.
Into our minds, keeping us up at night,
True rest comes from a clear conscience, shining bright.
We can buy books, but not knowledge;
The pages may be filled, but wisdom we can't pledge.
For true knowledge comes from experience and learning,
Not just from the books we keep yearning.

We can buy medicine, but not health;
A temporary fix, not true wealth.
For health is more than just the absence of disease,
It's about balance and taking care of ourselves, if you please.
We can buy a house, but not a home;
A roof over our heads, but still we may roam.
For a home is where the heart is, where love resides,
Not just bricks and mortar where our money hides.
We can buy a clock, but not time;
No matter how much we try to keep to a chime.
Time slips away, never to return,
So cherish each moment, let it burn.

We can buy a dress, but not beauty;
True beauty comes from within, it's our duty.
To love ourselves and others, with kindness and grace,
Not just what we can see, but what's behind the face.
We can buy people, but not commitment;
True commitment comes from the heart's shipment.
Of love and dedication, not just a price tag,
For true relationships, there's no shortcut or gag.
We can buy things, but not happiness;
Material possessions can only do so much, I must confess.
For true happiness comes from within, from gratitude and joy,
Not just from what we can buy or employ.
We can buy a job, but not respect;
No amount of money can make others reflect.
On who we are and how we treat them,
True respect comes from within, let's not condemn.
We can buy comforts, but not satisfaction;
A momentary pleasure, a fleeting attraction.
For true satisfaction comes from a life well lived,
With purpose and meaning, not just from what we give.
We can buy a degree, but not self-esteem;
A piece of paper, not a self-esteem gleam.
For true self-worth comes from within, from knowing our value,
Not just from what we can buy or pursue.
So as we navigate this world of material gain,
Let's remember what truly matters, lest we be in vain.
For in the end, it's not what we can buy or own,
But who we are and how we've grown.

To My Joy Mistress

 Are you a Magician?
Because every time I look at you
Everyone else disappears.

Can you guess
What I am wearing?
It's the smile you gave me.

I am not feeling myself today,
Can I feel you?

My bed broke,
Can I sleep in yours?

I heard you're a player.
Nice to meet you,
I'm the coach.

Let's play Titanic,
You be the ocean
And I'd go down on you.

Your body is 70% of water,
And I'm thirsty.

I've been wondering,
Do your lips taste as good as they look?

Don't bite your lips,
I want to do that.

I 'will give you a kiss;
If you don't like it,
You can return it.

What an RC!

Meeting is Joyful but
Parting is Painful;
Although It is Painful,
the reminiscences of it make us Joyful.

Every session has provided us
a kind of stuff in its own ;
Each Resource Person had a lasting impression
on our brains.

Every discussion  has yielded good fruits to
the depth and heights of the well of
English Language and Literature.

We might not have seen the seven hills but
surmounted almost all the hills
of language and literature by digging
deep into with the tremendous support
of HRDC, Director and Course Coordinators.

Hoping to keep up this bonding of the assorted
team with collective efforts
by sharing our treasure of knowledge at leisure
in our areas of interest, expertise and Research.

Parting is Painful but imminent so
we are parting  with a ray of hope to have
another joyful meeting at a certain time in future.
